Made of 3/4″ wide pack strap webbing. Features an adjustable Fastex Side-Release buckle for quick on and off. This chin strap is designed to mount on a hard-hat, thus helping to keep it on the user’s head in the event of a fall. The chinstrap is mounted to the helmet with four 1/2″ #6 bolts with washers (included). We have created the 4 point chin-strap modification so that there is no sewing in ours by utilizing special plastic buckle hardware. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS CHINSTRAP DOES NOT MAKE THE HELMET A RATED HELMET BUT WILL HELP IN KEEPING THE HELMET ON IN THE EVENT OF A FALL.
